MASTER’S DEGREE IN HUMAN PERFORMANCE AND HEALTH PROMOTION

10 YEARS EXPERIENCE

Justin Swinney has always had a passion for performance training since a young age. His father, Todd Swinney, became involved with training athletes in the late 70s and has trained hundreds of professional athletes. Justin grew up watching his father help people and developed a love for training. Justin’s dad told him at a young age “to be the best, you must work harder and be smarter than your competition”. That is where Justin started his journey into the performance field.

Justin began by getting a bachelor’s degree in fitness and playing some college football until knee injuries ended his career. Then, he decided to get his Master’s Degree in Human Performance and Health Promotion. While achieving these degrees and maintaining a 3.7 g.p.a., Justin won the 2007 Mr. Alabama bodybuilding competition and helped hundreds of people reach their goals in sports and fitness. Justin now owns and operates a hardcore no nonsense performance training center in Madison, AL.

Justin plans on beginning his doctorate program in the near future. He wants to get his P.h.d. in Exercise Science or Kinesiology.
